Hey everyone! As you know every summer I get really busy but that never really materialized last spring/summer because most of my work comes from group activities and events that were Covid-cancelled. This year was sort of the same however Aug is proving to be quite busy. I'm also finding I'm falling behind on commissions and the flip comics are getting a little bit difficult to read when the pages are coming so far between. I'll make sure to finish off this page before the end of the month.
FANMONTH
I've decided to dedicate Aug to "mostly" fan commissions! I hope to burn through a bunch of pages on Tinhy's SPADAY comic and Wanderer's OUT AND TURN ABOUT comic and I hope you all enjoy their stories better when the pages are coming in bunches. Any of you who want to burn through some BB this will be a great time to do it! 24 for an illustration (fully inked and coloured) and 12 for a drawing (clean pencils) and 24 for a diary entry.
COMIX
People are interested in a Back To The Future parody with Little Lorna as well as Hanna Solo. The BTTF comic is going to need a bit of pre-organization to insure I get all of the story into 6 pages as I have to set up the time travel, establish her bumping into a young Larry and then them getting back to the present as well as a punch line. That's a lot to cram into 6 pages but with a little careful planning I'm sure it can be done without appearing forced.
Hanna Solo has kind of fallen off the rails so I may have to back off on the most recent page of her "interrogation" scene and maybe draw that scene out a little longer with some scenes with the Stormtroopers having their way with her and then Lando and Darth looking on. This is going to be fun as I'm going to this time mash up the stories of ROTJ and the Solo Movie to introduce Hanna Solo's new sidekick/co-pilot.
No spoilers but... I think I spoiled it already! Lol.
I just want to give everyone plenty of warning in advance so you don't get disappointed when you don't see the BTTF or Hanna Solo comic pages next month.
