Skating Mechanics in the Making... (Patreon)

Hey everyone,
here's some progress on how our game is coming along!

First of all tho, for all those of you wondering what was going on during the start of the year, we ran into some complications with our previous coder.
Essentially their personal life circumstances got in the way of kicking off development in a focused manner, meaning we were stuck in an awkward state of wanting to get started, but we just couldn't gain any traction as something always got in the way.

At this point we've got DetectiveSpooky on the team though, our new coder, and things are coming along nicely again!
He's been working on the foundational mechanics of Divi's skating level.

The graphics still have to be implemented, so rn you can see Molly walking and sliding around with Divi's character controller.

Slopes are a thing now!
Knowing how complicated it is to make them function properly, I'm glad to see our coder got it to work!

On top of that, Divi's character controller can accelerate to 2 different speeds, roll over slopes and ramps, and even do tricks in the air!

Of course once I've got the animations and scenery done it'll look even more fancy.
