Closing 2023 (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to close 2023 with one last post. 

Let me start by saying thank you for being awesome!

How was 2023 for you? For me personally, it feels like it went by so quickly and I barely achieved anything noteworthy. I started off the year with a lot of grand designs and goals but when I look back, I realize that maybe I was a tad bit too greedy and set the goal post a little higher than I could reach. 

If I had to describe the year in a few words, I would say it was a bumpy road. 

I'm planning to go into 2024 with a refreshed state of mind and treat it as a new starting line. But at least I know my journey won't be lonely with you guys keeping me company and enjoying the art I make on the way. 

My journey so far both figuratively and quite literally (since I've wandered around the globe for 2 years doing this) wouldn't have been possible without you guys and your support. I always knew but over the years it solidified my understanding that we're all on a journey and the most important thing to remember is the friends you make on the journey. 

Experience, memories, and friends. The older you get, you might gain plenty of experiences and memories but it seems harder and harder to break the ice and make friends as easily as I used to like when I was back in school. It's a worrying trend, the more responsibilities we bear, the less time we have for ourselves and even less to spend on our existing friends let alone time to make new friends. 

I think that's why I feel very blessed that this platform gave me a unique opportunity to make lots of friends across the world. And who knows, maybe one day I'll pick up my travel trunk and restart my adventures across the globe again as a digital nomad and meet you guys and girls irl. 

2024 might be filled with exciting opportunities for me or uncertain pitfalls in life but so long as I know I have friends here, I'm not too worried. So once again, thank you for your support everyone and may you all have a great New Years to start 2024.
