October Announcements (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I hope you've all been well, did you miss me? I miss you guys and can't wait to get back to working on anime waifus again. Thank you so much for your patience, I've been doing well and enjoying my break getting to spend time with the family.

I thought it was time to make a small announcement regarding what I'm planning in October.

I don't know if you guys remember, but I briefly talked about the chance that I'll be creating character merch throughout October and distributing them to my wonderful Patrons throughout October and November. Roughly on the 5th of October (So only few days from now), I plan on gathering postal addresses through a direct message, which I'll be sending out to my Active Patrons. This is so I can send out some goodies I'll print throughout the month.

I've been thinking long and hard about what kind of character merch I can create while I'm here. Since there are 500+ of you guys that are supporting me, I want to send something to every one of you which I suspect will be quite a lot of shipping to do.

Creating character merch isn't a big problem since there are all sorts of manufacturers here in Korea, but the bigger issue is finding out how to best send them worldwide since you lovelies are everywhere worldwide. Posting things has become very expensive after Covid, so I think shipping will cost quite a bit.

I plan to create Postcards, Card Tacks, Stickers, and Acrylic Stands. Each postcards will contain a little message from me! I hope you won't judge my handwriting, haha.

I'll be distributing different goods to different patron support tiers.

So this is what you'll get~!

Connoisseurs Tier: Postcard, Card Tacks

Premium Tier: Postcard, Card Tacks, Sticker

Luxury Tier: Postcard, Card Tacks, Sticker, Acryl Stand

First Class: Postcard, Card Tacks, Sticker, Acryl Stand, +α (Something extra I'm hoping to create, but I can't say for sure yet)

That's the general plan I have in mind. Depending on the support tier, like First Class, I may include a little something special on top. I'll try my best to find a company that makes what I'm thinking.

I will likely be using OPP envelopes for the shipping, and they will be sent through international shipping - surface mail. Since most of my Patrons are from the US and Europe, which are pretty far from Korea, please understand that I'm unable to ship these using EMS.

Below are some examples of what I'm thinking of creating!

Have you guys ever had fake tattoos as kids where you apply water and slap on these stickers on your skin which you can peel off the film to get the tattoo branded on your skin? I think these stickers are applied in a similar fashion in that you can slap them on and peel them to have the art stick on any surface. Okay so I found out it is water resistant so you can safely stick it on your favorite mug and wash it, but wash it with your hands and do it gently and I don't recommend power washing it inside a dishwasher. 

This is a card tack. I'm not sure what the official English name for them are but this is what we call them here in Korea. It's like a small art card you can snap at the bottom to make it stand up like an acrylic stand but it's much thinner like a small business card. You can place it on your desk or keep a piece of my artwork inside your wallet.

And then there are Acrylic stands. You've probably seen them throughout anime cons these days. I'm really hoping I can create them but we'll see. The big problem is the size issue as I'm not sure if it will fit into the post (or if extra charges will incur at the post office as a result of the thickness.)
