Diluc, the Dark Knight Heroine [Genshin Impact] (Patreon)

I think overall I had a much harder time with this one over Venti mainly due to the final background lighting which sort of buried Diluc in additional redness but after some long struggles with it offline, I settled the tablet down for the day with the final work as presented here.


Nevertheless I still had fun streaming it online with everyone who dropped by to cheer me on. I honestly don't think I could have finished it as fast as I did without the support of everyone that watched the stream. ^^ so big thank you to all who showed up!

The other thing I found quite complicated to draw was Diluc's outfit. It's one of those things you don't really notice it until you have to draw it I guess. My first impression of Diluc was oh wow, he's pretty good looking and I like his coat! It'll be fun to draw the coat on Diluc's shoulders. Oh little did I know, it's a bit more complex than I thought.


This artwork started off with Diluc smiling but then I had to trace back to my thoughts and wonder if Diluc ever smiled in the game. If anyone knows, show me in Discord because I honestly can't remember xD He seemed to be frowning all the time. Though it's in his character I suppose and that's fine too I think. 

On a completely unrelated side note. I think I'm beginning to understand how Patreon Censorship bot works. I think it usually activates when the censorship bot detects clevage. Diluc in comparison to other characters I've drawn has a lot more clothes on her than most and it still triggered the Censorship bot telling me to take it down or restrict it to Patreon only. My only other guess is the navel/abs or maybe it's a combination of both. (Or it might be the beautymark? )

Anyways~ I'm done with this little project. Tomorrow is another day and I plan on tackling a few more Genshin projects before the month is over!
