Good morning! What a weird thing to say first thing in the morning while posting a lewd artwork of a shipgirl spreading her legs wide open with everything exposed.

Well as promised, here is a shipgirl inside a cruise ship getting herself thoroughly inspected by commander (or do they call it Admiral in this series? ) Sadly as I'm not too familiar with the series, I thought about glossing it over with a overused quote , a picture is worth a thousand words and leave it at that.

But then it got me thinking, where did I hear that from?

======================================

 "A picture is worth a thousand words" is an English language adage meaning that complex and sometimes multiple ideas can be conveyed by a single still image, which conveys its meaning or essence more effectively than a mere verbal description.

I sometimes like to use it when I run out of things to say about the art or just don't feel very constructive or creative and by throwing it into my writing, it feels like a convenient excuse to write less so that the phrase has more meaning. I'm sure many of you who reads my thoughts written out along with the lewd artwork would have caught me using it several times already haha... Well, the cat is out of the bag now since I'm openly admitting it. That said, if you fancy yourself a writer and run out of things to say about something or someone, or say if you were writing a small passage of describing a new character being introduced and run out of things to say, you can use this phrase.

"She was a miraculous sight on the battlefield, her very presence overwhelmed the invading orcs as she brandished  Doujigiri Yasutsuna. A crackling surge of lightning trickled out of each swing of the treasured katana as the busty lady Samurai of the Heian period led the charge cutting down multiple foes as though they were naught but blocks of butter. A thousand words could not describe the erotic terror towering over a mountain of corpses."

Apparently, the first recorded sighting of this quote was used by Henrik Ibsen,  a Norwegian playwright and theatre director ( 20 March 1828 – 23 May 1906 ). It got quoted way more often after his passing and now it's used by pretty much everyone as a fairly common gimmick people use in writing creative things.

Well, now that I explained all that, can you see a thousand words per artwork above? xD

I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone by now but for the few of you who kept insisting it's secretly Edelgard, she's not =P Though I have to say they do share the color palette. Except for the eyes, I think Edelgard has a light purple shading over her eyes.

YUMM!!! Maybe I should write this seen out. 6 pics = 6,000 words. Can I do it in fewer words and still capture the passion? Things that make you go "Hmm...?"
