Hoshiguma x ProjektRed (Arknights) WIP (Patreon)

Good morning!

So it's been about a week since I've arrived at my new hostel right next to the Taipei Underground City Mall (One of the main hotspots for Anime Goods and Figure Shoppin...they even sell lewd figures there). Life here at the hostel started a bit slow and I mean that in regards to finding a place to work. 

Sure enough, there are plenty of desks here in the main lounge but it's such an open space that it sometimes feels uncomfortable drawing lewd artwork with so many eyes on my screen... 

It's taken me a good long time to get adjusted to the new work environment which ultimately affected my ability to work on artworks/streams/posting on Patreon among other things. I've also been experimenting with different sleep hours thinking there won't be that many people in the lounge at 2 am but...I was wrong. 

There are plenty of night owls staying in this hostel so my plan kind of backfired, AND my overall health got worse from the lack of sleep + irregular sleep hours. So yes, I've been doing a lot of experimenting to find out how to best work in this hostel environment.

For those of you new to my Patreon, welcome! You probably have no idea what I just talked about above. To bring you up to speeds, I'm a digital artist who is currently traveling the world country by country every month or two (or so that was the plan until the Corona Virus happened...). Right now I'm currently in Taiwan (Have been here for 5 months now approaching 6 in a few days).

Anyways, that's my update on where I am currently and how I'm doing. 

Today's WIP is Hoshiguma and ProjektRed from Arknights. Two of the tallest girls in the game were probably taller than your average fashion model ( 5'9.5" or 176.53cm ). 

Doing a quick google search... Hoshiguma stands at 184cm ( or 6'0) and Projekt Red is surprisingly shorter at 162cm ( or 5'3.1"), I could have sworn she was well over 170cm. 

I've already written up the dialogues for this one and had it localized into Korean. Sadly I'm contemplating on localization now since the person who localize the works needs to be very familiar with the franchise to pull it off flawlessly capturing both the personality of the characters and specific terms/jargons unique to the lore/world. My friend who did the Japanese localization spoke to me about the problem and so we're thinking of discontinuing it for now since he doesn't play games as much. 

But yes, this will be prepared and ready to be released in the coming days! I just realized I need to do some more work on it so I'll get right on that after posting this. 

Completely unrelated note, How is the Corona Virus affecting everyone so far? It's almost been 2 months since Taiwan last announced confirmed Corona patients (so far there hasn't been one here) and it's announced that Corona Virus is effectively over so they've loosened the restrictions that were in place. (Minus the rule about having to wear a mask in public transports like the subway trains). I really hope all of you are safe and sound throughout the troubled times. So far only a few of you seem to have caught Corona directly, I'm glad most of the friends I made through starting my Patreon haven't caught Corona. If you ever need someone to talk to, DM me on Discord anytime~ I know I've been quite busy with my work and adjusting lately but I'm always up for a chat ^^
