Siege (Arknights) ANIMATION! (Patreon)

YES! It's here! xD Ah this finally got animated and boy was it worth all the wait! 

This time I got the opportunity to do a collab with AlexyonChopper from IronVertex (A group of Live2D Animator community run by Brian, check them out sometime! )

After having so much difficulty finding a reliable animator, I almost gave up on attempting Live2D since a lot of the animators seemed to have their hands full with their own things which is understandable. I didn't have much time to learn how to animate things myself either and even if I did I still wouldn't have time to divide my time between drawing and animating so I'd given up on it.

But you guys already heard me ramble on about that last time so I won't repeat myself. 

I have a habit of cutting my assets and going a bit overboard or so I'm told by a lot of the animators I've worked with. Alex (the animator I worked with this time) seemed to have used as much of the parts I've cut and divided for him and not only that, he also took the time to take care of how the scene would play out. Honestly wasn't expecting him to do that but it was a huge work off my shoulders. xD 

All I did as far as editing went was to use the mp4 I was given and apply sound work on it. It's a bit like playing jigsaw puzzle but with sound files. You have to sift through all the files to make on the go decisions of what to add where and build on top of that by replaying the scene over and over and over again until it's complete. I'm pretty sure I'm doing this all wrong and there's probably a much better way to go about doing this but I like to think of it as a mini-game of sorts and stuck with it. I'm very happy with how this turned out, I'm quite confident you guys will be able to enjoy it! 

And wow...it's already June?! we're almost halfway through the year! It's been quite the crazy year for everyone, hasn't it? And I've been living in Taiwan for...5 months now? >.> Under normal circumstances, I'm sure I would have traveled to 4~5 different countries by now.

I think that's it for me tonight. I managed to meet some big deadlines so I have some breathing room to make a Patreon post tonight but I'll have to get back to work if I want this month to be smooth sailing.
