Mercedes the Birthday Present~! (Patreon)

The clumsy beautiful noblewoman of the Blue Lions wearing nothing but velvet gift wraps for her darling professor's birthday! I would say she definitely qualifies as one of the top 5 waifu in Three Houses and my personal favorite in the Blue Lions. I could be wrong but I vaguely remember modders on FFXIV import her hairstyle over to the game as well which was a nice addition to the lack of longer hairstyles in the game.

As I'd explained in the WIP, the concept behind this illustration was of Mercedes and what she would do if the person she adores and cherishes was celebrating their birthday. Throughout the series, she's made it clear that she's a bit of a scatterbrain but that doesn't stop this lady from doing thorough research on potential gift ideas that could please her man, and through girlchats with ladies of the other houses, she musters up her courage to wrap herself in gift wraps and wait for the Professor in his room...though being a clumsy girl she kind of undoes the gift wraps somewhat whilst waiting. (Though it looks like it had the desired effects regardless!!)

Once again, Happy Birthday to the Professor who commissioned me to immortalize this sweet moment with the clumsy girl of the Blue Lions.
