So Gumroad just dropped a nuke on all suggestive Artists using their platform, be it illustrators like me, cosplayers, ASMR artists, and animators, we're all about to have our content wiped clean from Gumroad in the next 24 hours. They never made any announcement before this so this came as a shock to most of my Artist peers including myself.

What does this mean for us?

I have a feeling the vacant market left behind by Gumroad might get snatched by a start-up company that will grab this chance to launch a competitor website much like how Fansly came to be after OF pulled a similar stunt that they've backpedalled on after noticing the financial loss. 

For now, I expect Gumroad will no longer be a platform I can use reliably and the monthly distribution of rewards to tier supporters will be halted until an alternative solution is found. I am looking into this as we speak but if anyone has suggestions, please share it in the comments below.
