The song that he wrote for taemin but it never made it to his album and he roasted him for it lol. Btw shawols are known to be great singers when cheering to the point where they have their own fancams from other fandoms during dream concerts

We shall thank Taemin for one of the best Jonghyun songs and performances lol. I would like to hear Taemin's version too but at the same time I think only Jonghyun could do it the way he did in such a powerful approach.

Both Moon and Cocktail are bsides from the same album 'She Is' for what I consider to be the best solo album in Kpop, and one of the best albums overall. From unique and different instrumentals and genres, to intricate and superb vocals - it's got everything. Every song feels very distinct and very Jonghyun, you could never mistake it for someone else. Every song on it is a masterpiece that together tells a story and showcases Jonghyun's artistry. These songs could totally be released today and wouldn't feel out of place because of how much ahead of time they were. Many experimental sounding tracks too.

Even Jonghyun himself said that Cocktail is a difficult song to sing. Both recording and performing it on top of that. But of course he nailed it. Love how he can seemlessly switch back and forth between rapping and rap-singing to belting these notes out. Together with all of the adlibs and whispers in the back it's very satisfying and just like most of his songs interesting to listen to as it's quite unpredictable. I think there are more elements being added/removed in the instrumental aside from the guitar, especially at the end during last chorus there's even more of the bass and crashing waves-like sounds that adds up to the intensity. As you put it, it's kind of complex yet simplistic at the same time. To me the focal point here are the vocals and the emotions though. Also love the slightly different band arrangement live, that guitar solo is chefs kiss.
