Jokes aside, I will post some polls and Weekly Update right now. Something happened, doesn't matter, I'm done posting my IRL related stuff. Those who cares always can ask me via DM, for the matter of fact they do.
So, yes, Paizuri Bliss 4 is here! It's huge, 36 minutes long, longer than any fap challenge I ever created, just look at this...And this is just one round. I guess I'm happy with it's release, too exhausted to feel it appropriately, more details and thoughts below as usual.
This time you can find it in 2 folders in Secret Creamy Stash. In "Rewards/2023_08-09" and directly in "Fap_Challenges". There are usual low quality versions, I also added "no slaps" version without any slaps, slurps, splurts, moans, etc during rounds, just music and beatbar (there are couple story related moans though). Here goes a little breakdown, I'll try to keep it short this time.
Some new positive additions that I'm happy with:
- It is huge... It has length of an average Fap Hero. I tried to outdo 2nd part, you judge if I did;
- It has full story and host this time. Not sure how many of you will appreciate it (I still need to run a poll) but I personally happy with it;
- I added interactive texts to some scenes, similar to Pixel Paizuri series;
- Some minor rules ideas. For example I added "complex rule" in one round, it is supposed to have repeatable pattern with multiple separate rules in it. I used this concept in Ass Bliss and decided to implement it here as well;
- I think I mastered switching between various aspect ratios during rounds, and between regular and mobile UI versions. Not a single inch of those huge boobs will be missed;
- Oh! Bonus game! I finally implemented it, at the end it has completely different concept than I hoped for, feels more like just extra freestyle round like in Reminiscence, but I'm happy that I at least tried and added it. Maybe one day I will be able to create bonus game with score system after all...
Things I'm not happy with:
- My biggest regret this time is amount of bugs... I did not "catch them all", but I can feel there a lot of it. Typos, beats misplacements, audio and video artefacts. I was rushing the project at the end and had no time to go through all of it as many times as I would like to. I just hope those bugs will not affect your experience too much;
- I also not happy with audio design this time. I didn't adjust all levels as I would hope it be at the end, I really would like too spend much more time on poiishing some audio samples, there are too much noise in some scenes which surely will affect immersion, I'm sorry. I can suggest to not play it on higher volume levels, it should sound fine on lower levels;
- Schedule ofc. A lot of you guys got angry because of those delays, quite justified. I will try to do better next time, but... I keep saying it every time (〃∀〃)ゞ
And that's probably it, I definitely missed something, but whatever. Overall it is a big project, I don't know how to make my workflow more transparent for everyone without turning it into nightmare for myself. But this project was VERY big.
During December I was thinking, each time Paizuri Bliss takes more and more time, how so and why I cannot keep it in schedule. And answer is pretty obvious, it is natural desire to improve and make it better each time, which inevitably will consume more and more time (such a video editing).
Also, today when I returned home I saw this comment from a new guy who litterally made a pledge for several hours and already commented "he hasn't uploaded anything for months". First I got sad for a minute, after all Secret Creamy Stash have years of my works, but then it struck me and I thought "That's true, I did not upload anything into Secret Creamy Stash for 5 months", all that time I was working on PB4, ER2 and other minor things. So I decided to reflect on my past.
When in 2019 I started all of this, I was able to release one FH round per month at best, and maybe some extra HMV when I was sacrificing all my sleep ("Insomnia" is a good example of that). But that was just one simple FH round ~3-4 minutes long. Without any UI (except simple beatbar), no moans, no story, host, no different versions etc. I worked on PB4 five months, it has 8 complex rounds, full story, host, multiple audio tracks, tons of various elements microplacements, etc. I had to break it down into 9 big different project files in order for my PC not explode, and I'm not even joking, I was there, my naivety cost me my hard drive when I tried to put whole PB3 into one project file. Would I be able to finish PB4 faster? Hell no, I clearly see that now. In order to release it with all ideas I wanted to put in, it would take 1-2 years. Maybe one day I will close my Patreon page and will focus on something even bigger, we'll see.
Anyway, I'm starting to rant. I need to find a way to make my workflow more transparent for everyone, so people would be able to understand why and on what project I do spend my time.
