In some free time I did some rough sketchups of potentially new characters for the Brooke-sphere. Chapter 3 of Brooke Goes To College is approaching the end, and Chapter 4 is slowly being massaged, nudged, grown, and sculpted into existence in my mind.

Coloring this up today.

I go with characters ideas that I have for their stories. I don't create characters with disabilities to "cover" them.

The mouse reminds me of a friend long ago. Blind and she loved to sing. My first meeting with her she asked if she could touch my face. Seems my voice didn't match. Then she spent an hour playing with my afro.

I'm interested in the mouse. I would guess the stories around her would be interesting to read. I imagine it would be very for the lack of a better word "sensory" (not necessarily in a dirty way)

My nephew's father is mixed, and he ended up with a huge dirty-blonde afro that he let out. His mother let him have it so long as he got good grades.
