Most medical professionals agree that it's safe for both the mother and the child for the mother to have sex at anytime while pregnant, except for the very last stages.

Women will, however, experience some bodily changes (besides having to pee all the time, since they basically have a watermelon sitting on their bladder). An increase in breasts size, more fat on the hips if they are skinny, and a change in complexion. Many women say they have an increase in 'nesting instinct', wanting to clean and decorate the home. It will be interesting to see how Beth looks post pregnancy, and how she will feel about her new body.
