Howdy-hey! We have a special video this month! We're always nervous to share in-depth footage because things are still a bit rough around the edges. However, we've seen your comments asking about an update on movement since the first trailer, so we're happy to share what we're working on.

Stuffy's been on quite the rollercoaster since July of 2022 when our first footage of the game went live. Since then, we've stripped things down and built them up again on more than one occasion. It's vital that what we're making looks right and feels even better... So, we've been tinkering, refining, and rebuilding gameplay mechanics in recent months - including Stuffy's movement and moveset.

This video won't get into Stuffy's other mechanics, like the Needle 'n Thread, climbing, pushing, etc., but it does show some of the tuning we've been doing on platforming for our new deeper movement system. 

Do note this is pre-alpha footage, so we are fully aware of subtle issues and missing animations!

Looks good, the true 3D movement looks really fun for level designing. one concern though, If stuffy is on a single layer platform, does it lock him in place so he doesn't fall?

That’s right! There are certain cases where Stuffy is “locked” to prevent from falling, or slipping off the back edge. 😄
