Changes to Select Trixel+ Content (Patreon)

Hello everyone! We'd like to inform you of a few changes coming to trixel+ in the following months.

We've decided to scale back in some promotional areas so that we can focus more on development itself. This change comes after the absence of a Director who would normally have overseen the schedule of certain Patreon content. Without their additional help, this has directly impacted our available time and resources for certain Patreon offerings.

We understand this news may sound worrisome, but we'd like to reassure you that everything is still in tip-top shape and this does not affect Restitched development. We have been operating this way for the last several months and will continue to prioritize exciting game updates such as Restitched: Recapped! - with a second trailer planned for sometime this year.

With one less hand to help in the creation of certain posts, we've had to review our lowest-performing and highest-demanding content to decide which to suspend, cancel, or adjust the scheduling for. Our mission is to keep focusing on the content you enjoy most, such as Soundtrack Previews, Recapped, Dev Diaries, screenshots, etc.

Restitched: Tailor's Tales

Introduced in October 2023, this feature was meant to offer bite-sized pieces of story content from the fictional Restitched universe. With its lower reception and demanding writing, we've decided to scrap this benefit for now.

You can still enjoy the existing post titled "Mamaw's" Misfortune" in our Patreon library.

The Grandiose Tales of Cpt. Stuffy - Issue #2

In late 2023, we renewed this Restitched spinoff comic for Issue #2. However, The Grandiose Tales of Cpt. Stuffy will be wrapping up its high-seas adventure in future pages. While we love everything about Cpt. Stuffy, we'll be putting it on hiatus until the game is at a more complete stage.

This decision comes after we've reviewed the relatively low engagement of these posts and the high effort it takes to produce. We'll continue the story we have written, but once our artists wrap their work on this project they will fully reintegrate into the development of Restitched.

Restitched: From The Vault

This feature will change from a monthly release to a sporadic one. There are many months where you can expect this to be published, but, on occasion, it may be missing from the monthly lineup.

This decision was made because we'd rather share valuable, purposefully planned looks at scrapped content and interesting concepts whenever the opportunity arises - and not dig through our old content just for the sake of putting something together! In this case, we'd like to favor quality over quantity.

Restitched: Soundtrack Preview

Don't worry, this beloved glimpse into the game's tunes is not going anywhere! We'd just like to properly announce that these posts will now be timed exclusives, with the thirty-second previews eventually becoming available on our YouTube channel for a wider audience to enjoy.
