life update (Patreon)

hey all, wanted to keep you all updated on things just in case some of y'all don't check twitter often (valid)

my mum was diagnosed with mesothelioma on monday, and it's hit all of us very hard. thankfully it was caught really early, and because my mum has never worked in an asbestos mine or anything, the growths in her lungs are slow-growing and low grade, but regardless it's still a very scary situation for my family.

i'm still gonna be trying to draw, grinding out commissions, and even trying to work on overhauling the patreon the way i wanted to this year, but in case i end up going silent or disappearing for anywhere from days to months at a time, i just wanted you all to know why. things are scary rn, and while i'm gonna do my absolute best to keep making stuff, i can't promise anything with so much uncertainty hanging over us right now. i'm really sorry, and thank you guys for always being so patient with me.
