I absolutely love Mexican food! I have tried it in India of course also here in the UK and in Los Angeles when I visited. I would say it’s pretty similar everywhere I have had. If I ever visit Mexico someday I can truly judge if I have been having authentic Mexican food.

Mexican food is best eaten on a hot day with a margherita..to me, its similar to a chaat with variety of chutneys..just like mexican food has a veriety of salsas.. Pico de gallo is basically kuchumber minus the cucumber Indian food has yogurt , and they have sour cream to cool things.. Nachos are like papdis :D Btw, chillies made their way to India from Mexico.. Tomatoes came from Spain.. Potatoes from somewhere else.. And India just made it its own.. Gulab Jamun, Jalebi are of Persian Origin and not Indian ..even the Samosa and Paneer have Turkish origin if I am not mistaken..

Potatoes and Tomatoes all come from the Americas. Pre-Columbus. Potatoes are native to the Andes mountains. I like to imagine what Italian food was like before Columbus.

Italians did not have pasta even until Marco Polo went to China and brought noodles back with him. We often forget how global we all were for centuries longer than that word was coined.
