All Thalaiva fans please don't @me and please put away your pitch forks and knives. I am truly a fan of the legendary Superstar Rajni sir. However I must say the following: This is 100% my opinion and i could be wrong. This is no fault of Rajni sir himself but how he was handled in some movies and songs lately. Its his charm and charisma that outshines a bad script/plot or song. If anyone failed him it's certainly film makers. I love this film Shivaji and all of Shakar's direction (except this arc in the movie and how it was depicted) I know there's a resolution to this in the next scene. But they could've handled it differently. Even in the name of a gag it isolates a large group, for whom its a reality on the daily. I'm still waiting to see female lead who's dark skinned and very successful in current generation of actors. And thats all I'm talking about the fair skin dark skin debacle. Also Rajni is synonymous with style and poise. In the right hands this could've easily been made the best choreography or a collection/montage/show off of his styles old and or new..... I personally saw him do his best and no style in the song.
