Sanjana wasn't always a stickler for the rules like she is now. In fact, as a freshman, the then team captain, Amber, had to put her in her place a couple of times. In this scenario for example, Amber had to punish a number of freshman girls who thought they could get out of practice with BS excuses! They quickly learned their lesson as they were ground into Amber's worn slide insole 😅 It was moments like this that helped shape the type of player and captain Sanjana eventually became!

New piece! You may notice this design is somewhat familiar--that's because it was previously featured in one of my first animations! I didn't have a name or backstory for her in mind back then, but as I started drawing today, she appeared on the page, and a story in my mind XD Amber was Sanjana's immediate predecessor, and made her team captain upon graduating! (Sanj assumed the role at the beginning of her sophomore year.) Anywho, hope ya'll enjoy :D
