Oni Encounter: Divine Retribution (Patreon)

Just because an Oni has consumed enough blood to become a red giant, doesn't mean they're remotely ready to challenge a deity. This ambitious fool, both a red giant, and a skilled magic user, thought they could overcome a goddess through sheer force of will. Needless to say, following this encounter, even their name was wiped from history. 

Lore Lesson: For the most part, deities are completely detached from the level of mere mortals. However, powerful Oni can at least begin to peer into their realm without immediately being crushed by the pressure. This does not mean they'd stand a chance against them, but rather, in the deity's weaker form, the Oni can exist among them, like insects among humans.

I figured since I'd done three full color human stories, and three full color Oni stories, it was time to bring in the top of the food chain again XD

I'd like to ultimately do at least 2 more deity pics, but we'll see how it goes. I recently regained access to the program I was using to sketch (that head the pencil look to it,) so I'm thinking to do some sketches while I devote more effort to larger projects. We'll see how things go though!
