For those that don't know what that is, this is directly off their website:

SIGGRAPH is the world’s largest, most influential annual event in computer graphics and interactive techniques: Five days of research results, demos, educational sessions, art, screenings, and hands-on interactivity featuring the community’s latest technical achievements, and three days of commercial exhibits displaying the industry's current hardware, software, and services.

For those that wonder why I care...

My new computer has cut my render times down by 15-30% Which is pretty damn good, but all of that speed increase is due to better cooling systems, a stronger CPU, and an upgrade to DDR4 RAM. IRAY does not currently support the new GTX 1080 Video Cards, due to the new Pascal Architecture introduced with the new card. Supposedly the folks at Nvidia are supposed to make an announcement about this sometime during Siggraph. My fingers and toes are crossed that the announcement is the release of IRAY drivers that support Pascal Video Cards. If this happens, my Render times will drop much more dramatically.

For those that wonder how that pertains to SuperPowered...

If the drivers are released sometime within the next few days, there will be much rejoicing, and dancing, and gnashing of teeth. Followed by a rendering grindfest of epic proportions.  I'm talking Word of Mouf by Ludacris levels of grind here. Which should help me finish off Kelly in a single update. However! If there is just an announcement of a future release later in the year... Well...I've kept my new computer rendering almost non-stop since I got it, and I don't like going longer than 6 weeks without a release.  Regardless, the amount of images needed for a new character is currently 300-320. So Kelly may need to be broken up into two updates. If this is the case, I will complete as much as I can of her in this next update, finish her off and start working on the additional elements for Project: School Pop in the following update. Speaking of which....Today is the last day to Vote if you have access to the High Level Vote Thread.
