Hey there everyone!

Another month, another update. Times flies, and it flies even faster when you’ve got a deadline to hit each month, hehe.

This update marks the start of Bryan’s route, a character I’ve grown especially fond of (although don’t get me wrong, I love everyone in Santa Lucia, but then again, I am biased).

With it comes a new CG with which I got carried away a bit, but was really fun to make. Unfortunately due to how long that CG took, and other personal issues (as well as work getting in the way), I was not able to properly finish Chris and Carlos’s new sprites for this update. I apologize for the delay, but I will make sure they look extra polished to compensate.

Hey guys,

I don’t really have much to talk about this month. I hope our Bryan players enjoy what we have in store for the character this month, hehe…

More astute observers will notice that there isn’t as big a time jump for Bryan as there was for Carlos. Turns out there’s a few things I would rather cover in Carlos’s route next month that I missed the opportunity to do with his first update, so that’s largely what we’re going to be doing with his second build.

I will say it’s been a big change to the workflow moving into the route content. There’s so much I want to cover, but at the same time I don’t want to be boring and redundant (a common criticism of SL I’ve seen pop up a lot lately). Hopefully the improved pacing of the route portion of the game is able to address this issue.

Lastly, I really want to thank Devilizer for his work on this build. He was the big MVP behind the scenes and made sure everything stayed on the rails. Make sure you give him a big shout out in the comments for me!
