Hey guys!

Sorry about the delay on this one! Had a tough time getting the new Bryan CG to display correctly!

With today's build, we officially start progress on the third in-game day, and also the first day of classes. I put a lot of emphasis on worldbuilding this time, though that doesn't mean there aren't interesting character interactions. In fact, there's a meeting between two characters you wouldn't expect, bridging a gap between members of the cast. Expect to see a lot of antics with your mentorship classmates! I also hope I left off the build on a very intriguing note, hehe...

Let me write for everyone else here, basically~ ^^ Really solid gold. 🏆🥇 I find Russel's jealousy intriguing, and wonder what justifies it, in his eyes. Karina is over the top energetic as always, but I do like her. You almost find yourself thinking she might also be jealous, of Shay obviously. Although, I guess there's a different story to it. Karina is propably too boyish, and doesn't have the patience to deal with a 'glamour girl'. We learn more about Nate's, propably second biggest hobby after acting, reading. I used to read absolute tons of books. (If anyone is interested, they were to 99% from the fantasy, science-fiction and horror genres) For Carlos: We'll hopefully see more opening up next time. A private time with Ben, similar as the one in their first night or so. Maybe he can reveal a few of his favorite hobbys? After all he spent more time with Ben than any of the others. I'm sorry for Zach. I can relate to him, to some extent, because I was socially awkward in my earlier school days too, and basically always an outsider... At least I was/am no 'robot', like most other people in this day and age. That's what I'm telling myself. “Better be different than boring“ Well, Bryan... He enjoys being himself, and is open and proud as ever. No news on that front. It is what it is. lol He does have his sex appeal, sure, but compared to a complete mysterium, Carlos for example, he's generic and ordinary. That is fine by me. I like how Ben took the initiative in the showers again. Now we've seen Bryan's pal Diego once again. If he could get his own route, I'd definetly appreciate and support it, but first things first Zach. And I know there wasn't one planned anyway. Chris doesn't have his route yet, of course his screentime is little. I wonder: Can you, with this I address both, my fellow readers and Devilizer+Dzahn relate to some of these characters? I guess so, because they seem very realistic written, like the portrayal/representation of oneself. Pretty much all of those characters could be called a part of my image, a mirror image made of segments of each of their personalities. Do you feel the same? So... a little strange to me is how you can choose to answer Karina's question with “I asked Eric out“, despite the fact that Ben was clearly a shy-guy back then. I know Eric was too, but we don't know to which extent... 10/10 for the artwork 10/10 for the story 10/10 for the characters 10/10 for the simple yet enticing music. (The UI needs a few adjustments is all:) Stay save people!

Thanks for the quick review! The dream sequence with Ben and Eric is left somewhat vague so you can decide whether or not you believe it's what really happened between the two. The more important piece of info I wanted to convey with that sequence was the parallels between the way Ben was at Bernard Academy and how Zach is currently at USL. There's a bit of hypocrisy in how Ben's handled his roommate, don't you think? I'm glad the characters feel pretty real! There's the old advice when it comes to writing: "Write what you know." Pretty much every character has a bit of me in them mixed with other people I've met in life. When I was in University, I was actually a student mentor, too, so pretty much all of how that system works I draw from personal experience. Bryan is probably the one that's least like me on the surface, and I used several people I knew in Uni as a base for how I'm characterizing the panda, hehe... Lastly, we're definitely working on the UI still! We're not happy with where we're at with it, so we're considering other approaches. I have no ETA on when we'll be done with it, but we're hoping to get some progress done on it in the next few builds. Cheers! ~Dzahn

I think there's more to Bryan then just him being out and proud with his sexuality and what is up with him hating his major is it something that he was forced into and not what he really wants to do besides play football
