Last Friday at the end of the world...

About  work...

I finished one of the commissions...

I have finished two pages of a pencil commission, and I have another 5 pages for the last ME commission I did (the one with the husks).

I'm coloring a background for the new project and finished with Lana's image for the next Night Lessons update.

I've inked two QC pages and made more text for the game.

Here, a pencil detail for one of the ME pages.

By the way, yes, all the current commissions are about Mass Effect.

I watched this show because it's by The OA creators. I like it, but I think there was a problem with the marketing of the show.

Firstly, the title. The original title was Retreat, but now it's A Murder at the End of the World (WTF?)

The FX guys talked about it like a "detective investigation" kind of show, but I think they couldn't define well the target of the show.

Naturally, some people think the show wasn't good, and I can understand why, probably they were looking for a detective show.

For me, the show is about obsession and accept the unavoidable. I really like how the Darby Hart character was building, but there are some characters doing nothing in the show.

Anyway... Emma Corrin as Darby Hart, the picture t's cool, no? 

Aside work...

Christmas was a disaster... 

No hot water and no heater until the 26th when the technician showed up and fixed the problem in 2 seconds by moving a valve.... I couldn't have dinner with my mother because my girlfriend and I were both sick (more or less sick) and I was 

panicked about catching it, my mom (she had cancer a few years ago, and I don't want to stress her immune system with random shit). But it could be worse, right?

On a positive note, I got a bunch of gifts! Three books and video games! 

What if? 2 by Randall Munroe, The Blank Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature by Steven Pinker and The Generation Myth by Bobby Duffy, awesome, all so interesting!

And games, well, I have a few indies to play, but I started with....

Sea of Stars...

It's a beautiful game, nothing with modern mechanics or original stuff, a pixel art RPG like the old ones.

The story is, for now, interesting, like the classic adventures, but by the way they tell you the story, it seems that there will be surprises, I don't know...

Another year that ends... Every year I forgot things of the past, I forget details of my life, I guess it's the same for everyone. In my case, I'm glad to have lost some memories, but others I actively keep as much as I can.

Let me remember moments of old adventures with this song.
