Yes: Less lights, less immersion, still not much performance gained in VR and the performance may still be impacted due to the amount of menus, animated morphs, soft body physics, hair etc. anyways.

No: I will keep things as it is but I will try to cut corners whenever I can.

my 2 cents. keep doing what youre doing. have scenes load with the performance lights etc. have the high end stuff be turned on by the user.

Yeah I guess that would be better. Since I experienced how VR works in VaM first hand, I can leave an Options menu active at all times. Though I need to check if simply turning off some lights allow a significant performance boost in VR.

Keep it all high performance. That is what you make. Others can make the cheap looking low performance scenes.
