The latest in my series of color pin-ups from my story Über Lad vs. The DC Universe is Mera, the Queen of Atlantis. Mera is featured in Chapter 5 of the epic saga. I thought I'd include an excerpt from the story, the passage where her appearance is described:

"Mera looked regal and resplendent as she strode into the child emperor’s bedchamber with her head held high. She wore a version of the same green, skintight, fish-scaled bodysuit, the scales glittering like 50,000 emerald sequins in the light, but this outfit seemed to be a more ceremonial variant — the bodysuit opened into a gown just below her knees, flaring out and trailing behind her in a long, flowing train, like a wedding dress. She wore a sheer, silken cape with the gown as well, which connected at her wrists. Her golden tiara sat high on her head, and her candy-red hair was pinned back in a bun. The cut of the neckline of her bodice was different too — plunging deeper on her chest and opening wider in the shoulders, exposing the perfect skin of her breastbone and her swanlike neck. The twin moons of her perfect breasts, easily as big as Power Girl’s famous pair, were squashed together in a deep canyon of cleavage, and the pale white hemispheres bounced and jiggled with each step, threatening to burst free entirely from the confines of her skintight, glimmering jade outfit.

Mera was stunningly beautiful up close, her eyes a striking green, heavy-lidded and exotic. Her skin was a pale shade that seemed almost unearthly… A life spent mostly at the bottom of the ocean, far from the penetrating rays of the sun’s light, gave her an untouched alabaster complexion, like a porcelain doll. It made the pronounced blush-pink of her puffy, pouting bimbo lips stand out all the more. She wore little make-up. She didn’t need it."

Next up: Zatanna!

Stunning. Christina Hendricks would be perfect to play her in live action. ;)
