Hey folks, back with more fun AI content -- I had a pretty major breakthrough recently and I'm very excited to share this with you all.

After spending most of last week experimenting with generating AI images from scratch using prompts and different models, I wondered: Is there any art I've done that I could feed into Stable Diffusion's img2img tool in order to render photo-real versions of my work?

Well, you can see the results. I decided to pick a simple composition -- the version of MJ from the cover to Submission Agenda: Lipstick & Lingerie (which I also now use as the banner image and profile pic for this Patreon). First I experimented with a cropped version that removed Felicia from the cover and I was thrilled by the results. With no background to confuse the image, I got several great iterations on my first runthrough, without the need for further editing.

So I took it further, erasing Felicia and filling in MJ's legs and feet with minimalist tones. And again -- arguably great results, though it took a little bit more finessing and iteration to find a perfect result.

I've included side-by-side comparisons as well as numerous different iterations, perfect and imperfect, to demonstrate what the process is like. My favorite thing about these is that with the minimalist white background, it actually creates a fashion photoshoot vibe/aesthetic that fits the theme of story (a complete coincidence).

I'm very excited by this development, as it means I can start experimenting with translating other work I've done through the AI filter. I know there are even tools to translate basic sketches into full-color, detailed images, but for now I think I'll have to stick to full color pin-ups, with minimal backgrounds. I'm trying to get the cover to Submission Agenda: The Taking of Emma Frost to work, but it's a lot more arduous depicting an actual sex act with two participants.

I don't think this will replace or even really impact my future artwork -- it's just a fun experiment to tinker with on the side. Look for more to come in the future!

MJ is one of my top 5 Marvel girls. These are really nice. Thanks for continuing to produce and share this stuff Peg!

How has your testing with multiple characters been? Ive noticed while using some online ai tools that it has issues generating two distinct characters rather then 2 characters with fused characteristics—if that makes sense

Yeah, I can't really get that to work at all, even with suggested prompts from other creators. I hope that's a fix that is coming in the future though -- I'm sure someone can figure it out. For now the best option I've found would be to cut out the background of an image and place a character in a different scene. I need to do more research
