Just messing around with formatting and a kind of quick method of drawing characters without focusing too hard on everything being accurate.

This style wouldn't work great for print ratios without some empty space on pages, but I'm not too focused on that at the moment. While future-proofing would be good, there's also the fact that CMYK doesn't give me the range of colors I want for my primary delivery method: digital

I like the perspective cut on the first panel. I've seen you do that before and it's a neat effect. The main thing I would advise for trying comics though would be to fill out your backgrounds more. You want to show a *scene*, not just two people saying things at each other. I've seen comic pages that were literally just panels of characters heads, going back and forth between them with minor expression changes as they talked. That's functionally the same thing as a text log. I recommend giving TwoKinds' recent chapters a look for constructing page layouts. The DreamKeepers stuff is also really good. Maybe even message the creators of either for tips!
