I was going to say this! One of my dogs has incontinence issues and uses a band diaper that only catches his urine. He still sometimes poops in the house and we just pick it up and flush it. Cleaning pee out of everything is much harder than picking up poop every once in a while.

Okay. Although I agree with Adal and Erin on the actual “would you rather” pee vs. poop (because it would smell worse), I completely agree with JPC when it comes to cleaning up pee. I’ve always had animals, and if they go in the house, on carpet, that pee NEVER gets out. No matter how quickly you clean it and such, it seeps into the floor and after a couple of dogs, there will be a smell there even after several carpet cleanings. Poop though, once it dries, you can pick it up pretty easily and clean it rather well. Pee is the harder to clean out of soft surfaces.
