Lore Expansion - Realms (Patreon)

We've been very busy writing the new (and in some cases remade) Daemonum Imperatrix lore the past few weeks, alongside trying to finish up with the Stable Diffusion generations (which give me a headache). Beside the rewritten lore, we are also constructing Domina's wiki page (finally!), that we are going to fill with the new mythos, alongside explaining gameplay mechanics and giving guides on how to maneuver each Domina. This feature has been asked for since the very beginning of the game and we apologize for finally getting around to it just now. Nevertheless, we'll be very excited for you to give the articles a read once they're posted!

One of the perks of this lore expansion is a deep dive into each Domina's realm. You never really explore these realms beside the throne rooms during Daemonum Imperatrix 1, but the expanded realms are still there and we'd like to give them some love. Lorewise, each realm/dimension is roughly the size of a medium or large-sized country on Earth, packed with its own history, species, places of interests and settlements. We want to breathe life into these worlds as much as possible and attempt to expand on each Domina's way of rule and societal structure, in an effort to explain some of their motives and personality.

I am posting the map of Katrina's Realm of Dusk above. It's a finished concept, stocked with Katrina's Stronghold (the place you see in-game) in the capital of Nightfall Keep (which houses the vast amount of the realm's population), the Bitterweed Fields in the southeast where human male slaves work themselves to death, the swamps of the Hollow where soulless Lost are sent to aimlessly wander around after Katrina and her witches has finished up consuming whatever was left of their soul, the mountainous keep of Gloomwatch which is the most defensive and fortified military settlement of the queendom, etc. Each named place of interest will have its own article on the Wiki we are writing, and you may even get to visit it in-game in the future! I'd love to hear some of your opinions on it.
