The Road Ahead (Patreon)

As previously said, the 7.5 update will require a new save; you can't use an already existing character, unless you want your game to break in unpredictable ways. The reason for this is I'm once again messing with the inner mechanics, variables and plugins of the engine and since RPG Maker isn't exactly the most advanced game engine, this tends to break save games. However, this is the last update that will require a new game, as we're entering the final stages of development for Domina and I'm not planning to touch the plugins again until the end. This means that after 7.5 is complete, I'm planning to once again exclusively focus on the next Dominas themselves, adding one realm per update, until the story is complete and done. 

So what's next for Domina?

Domina will have multiple endings to its story, but only one of them will be considered canon. The canon ending will expand into the story of Domina 2, which was already planned since the beginning of Domina 1. However, I'm planning to release some extra content for Domina 1 soon after its conclusion in "DLC-like" content packages, which are going to mainly focus on specific Dominas' Realms, expanding them both in size and content. These packages are going to be independent from the main game itself  and are going to act as separate smaller-sized games, for example exclusively based in Madeline's realm or Mary's realm.

What's next for the Dekarous team in general?

We are making a new game! It started as pretty small and basic in scope, but as development went on it kept expanding and expanding to the beast it is now. Fans of roleplaying college games (also SCC fans) will be very excited to find out what we have in store for you. We're going to post an official teaser as soon as the game is presentable.
