Status Update - Sept 2023 (Patreon)

Hi everyone, (there's more than 3 pics, sadly have to click one then scroll across)

September has really REALLY not been a good month for me :( 

First, there won't be an update for the game this month as the things I've been working on require a trigger to play them, and some are smaller quality of life and changes/updates. By trigger for example I mean events/levels that can't be played yet because they're going on a daily random list of jobs Tsumi can get at work (Helping another new floor with escaped tinies, helping tinies in NP with construction, New AV contract on another new floor etc etc). I've been going back through spagetthi code and updating some older events within Shrinkex where I think it could be improved and also enabling it to be played in a new job system.

Second, the Dani short story which I had assumed would be started/finished this month sadly hasn't even started. I've been told it was last month then nearly every week it'll be by x date, with last update of soon. So I apologize on giving a date for it as I had 100% thought it would be able to be completed from what I'd been told. If I had known it would've been another month I would've spent the budget on something else.

Third, and the most painful for me. I've lost the new comic artist as they no longer want to do NSFW requests. They weren't replying for a few weeks and when I finally managed to get in contact with them they told me they've been busy with full comics so won't be doing anymore of the NSFW. They did say however they're open to funny Virtue & Desire comics still but I'll see if they will hopefully still do them next month.

And the rest: Due to holding funds for both the short story and comic artist I don't have much for the artbatch either. I did get a bio pic for Lady White, and also a open/closed mouth asset which I can move layers etc on for future events. I also currently have in progress getting a bowl of cereal with layered assets so I can make a level/animation with it too (Tsumi's gotta eat healthy in the morning!), along with update to the nigiri and also a new rice curry dish. 

I'll put the Lady White and asset images in the artbatch folder (use the same current link I sent you, pm me if it's not working). For the images above, I've included the 1st page bio's for Delaria, Lady White, Dianne, and Jade. They've been updated in the game already. Also a small preview to make things easier for people of time/date/weather whenever it changes throughout the day, and a way for AV contracts to be tracked/know if one's in progress etc. 

I apologize again for a bit of a dry month :( Had I known I would've used some of the budget to get at least a proper image or 2 done in time. Patreon on top have also stupidly changed layout so images only show 3, with the rest requiring to be scrolled across with no short cut between. They also added some 'collection' thing and moved the 'tags' to that tab and at the bottom. I'll have to spend time and sort to make them easier to find at some point.
