Hey guys,

Just to keep you all up to date with our progress so far, things are moving relatively quickly for version 0.12. All the different storylines have been planned out, all the new environments, costumes and items have been put together. I've got about 25 thousand words of dialogue written so far, which is about half of what I expect to include in the update. Plus, now that I've broken the back of the writing, I'm in a position to start dividing my time between writing and rendering. I've already made a start on Priti’s punishment system as well as some of her key scenes and I should have the first batch of image previews ready in about a week's time.

To give you some idea of what I've written so far, Priti’s storyline has two main branches that can be played together or individually, depending on whether or not you encouraged Priti to be naughty in order to punish her. If you told Priti she needed to learn to rebel against authority, then she will start to do increasingly naughty things. You will be able to punish her after school and increase her level as normal through the punishment system. You will also receive extra money from the school’s mysterious owners who were keen to see Priti put across your knee.

In the other branch, we encourage Priti to act on some of her repressed desires in order to help build her confidence. This branch will contain the long-awaited follow up to Priti’s photoshoot in your office, promised all the way back in version 0.3. If you didn’t want to punish Priti with the punishment system then these scenes will provide an alternative way to increase her level. So it will be the first time in the game you can ‘level up’ a girl without the punishment system (if you decided you didn’t want to punish Priti). Some of the locations that will feature in this branch are the gymnasium (after the school play), the beach and the headmaster’s office.

Obviously, you’ll get the most content if you play both branches together, however, whichever route you pick you will still end up with a similar “reward” each time Priti gains a level. Priti will also go through some character development as she becomes more in touch with the thoughts and desires she has been repressing, allowing her to become braver and more confident over the course of the update. Of course, everyone loves Priti already so I won’t be changing her character too much.

I made the decision to set several major parts of Priti's storyline in the cafeteria because I needed a location where the girls could interact with each other outside of class and also as an excuse to flesh out that location a little. That means I'm going to have to include a scene for opening the cafeteria and the arrival of the new dinner lady, Patricia, and her daughter, Arabella.

Priti’s punishment system will feature all-new upgraded video animations (similar to the new ones I used for Cassandra recently). I'm going to attempt to add the red butt effect to her punishment system animations as well. Doing this will be a lot of work and to make up for that I plan to streamline other aspects of the system. We won't have the option to punish Priti while she's wearing her skirt. I'm also going to cut back on the number of view changes/camera angles for some punishment actions in order to focus on fewer, higher quality animations. Given that there are two disciplinarians, and a lot of available actions, there will still be lots of different camera angles to watch Priti getting punished.

Once I've finished Priti's storyline I'll move on with the extra side stories that were decided on in the poll. Which were; gaining access to the girl’s locker room; dildo practice (and sex) with Rachel; and BDSM class after school with Claire, Debbie and Amy. I've written quite a bit of these storylines too and I can promise you there is going to be a lot to look forward to. There's going to be some big group punishments (similar to what we saw with Cassandra's paddling in the sports centre). Plus, I may even be including sex with another virgin student (besides Rachel), although I think I'll keep her identity a secret for now. Got to have some surprises.

I'm still a little tentative about estimating a release date. There are a lot of unknowns about how long everything will take. However, I think I can confidently say that it will be before the end of the year. I know that seems a little way off but we are working hard and more time just means a bigger update. I’ll be posting the first batch of image previews in a week or so and I’ll give another update on our progress towards the end of next month. Hopefully, by that point, I should be able to give a more accurate release schedule.

Far be it from me to suggest a amendment to your business model, but... I'm down loading something on steam right now, and apparently it is unfinished. I'm sure you are quite savvy, but once you finish chapter 1. please release it commercially. As this seems to be the model. IDK IDK Please sub like and the bell thing on youtube lol. Great job so far.... Love the story and the Game... but damnit I'm stuck. oh yeah the idea is make more money hire some more developers and crush it. As a writer I can appreciate all that you do. I'll shut up now.

as of now, chapter 1 is considered "complete" and chapter 2 is in progress. there may be a 3rd chapter as well. One challenge has been that the way Altos and Herdone are using the modeling and rendering technology is very advanced, on a very niche technology stack, and there just aren't enough developers out there experienced enough with it to meet the standards we've come to expect and enjoy as players. That, and they don't want to outsource the story & writing. On the bright side, patreon-style funding allows them to be supported as developers without worrying too much about the content police or about copyright or piracy of a commercial game. The game is free, with development donation-funded on itch.io or patreon. So player patience is needed, but there's at least another year or two of content in "the hopper" before the game is finishable. Someday the game size may require it to be broken up into separate game files, but it's hard to say when that will be.
