Sorry for the delay on this one! I'll try and have part 23 come up early febuary. Just been a busy busy January. The story is a LITTLE on the shorter side this time, as our mouse protagonist comes to enjoy the fruits of her decision. There's more enjoying to come~

The room smelled of freshly made donuts and a subtle, rosy perfume. The combination was enough to make Jenny’s head spin on the best of days, when it was strong she could lose herself in it for hours. Blinds hung across the windows of the apartment, several floors up, tinting the sun a soft red as it came through. That gentle red ambiance alighted on her form and danced across the walls.

“All good Mr Moon. The forms are signed and in the mail.”

Diane was on her computer again. She worked from home more often than not these days. Jenny wondered if it were only a matter of time until that caught up with her, like it had caught up with the mouse. The thought of the bottom heavy rabbit filling a couch brought a blush to her muzzle, but she decided against sharing it while her girlfriend was on a video call.

Girlfriend? Was that what Diane was now? If their relationship could be quantified, surely that was the term they would use. She had been living at the rabbit’s home for several weeks now, and tasted the inside of Diane’s mouth on more than one occasion. She had a subtle sweetness to her.

Jenny shifted a little, the cushions beneath her were comfortable as resting on air but when Diane was at work she insisted on being close by. This usually meant she propped herself up against the rabbit’s desk, much to the complaint of both the desk and her back. One flabby arm lazily drifted across her vision to scratch idly at an itch on her enormous stomach. Once upon a time Jenny had difficulty conceiving of ever getting so big, now her size was something she contended with every day. One might think that such familiarity would breed complacency but every time she failed to wrap her massive arms around the boulder of her stomach, every time she waddled down the hallway of Diane’s house, stomach brushing the floor, every time she exhausted herself simply getting up - it brought a thrill to her that couldn’t be beat. She could feel herself ballooning, inflating, swelling every day. And she loved it.

“And how is your side project going?” Jenny heard Moon’s voice through Diane’s speakers. Even though she no longer worked for Sifton Inc, she couldn’t help but think of the wolf as her boss.

“Everything is perfect.” Diane replied. Jenny could imagine the smug grin on the rabbit’s face. Her rival was finally right where she wanted her. And it was perfect.

“No problems with the deliveries?” Moon enquired. That would be the shipments of donuts that Sifton was sending Diane to feed Jenny. When the mouse had made her choice Moon made it clear if she ever changed her mind, the mascot position would always be available. She supposed that had something to do with the complimentary lifetime supply of donuts that she had been provided. If things with Diane didn’t work out, she would certainly be big enough to have ‘Sifton’ painted across her stomach. She already was.

“No issues.” Diane confirmed, “they keep the project’s costs down too, so thank you again for that.” Jenny’s ear twitched. She wasn’t sure whether or not she enjoyed Diane calling her ‘the project’. She would have to think on that. A rustling from above indicated that the rabbit was rummaging through one of the aforementioned boxes of donuts. Jenny tilted her head up against the desk and right on schedule there was Diane’s hand, holding a massive donut hole. She pressed it firmly, but lovingly into Jenny’s waiting mouth. Jenny decided she didn’t mind being called ‘the project’ if it meant donut holes. She chewed the massive, freshly baked treat eagerly before swallowing and the pastry joined the dozen others she had already been fed today. They had made her already sizable stomach bloat out another half a foot or so, churning and gurgling loudly as they digested away into more delicious, soft blubber.

“I’m glad to hear it.” In the pause in conversation, Jenny could almost hear Moon’s smile. Not quite predatory, not quite harmless. There was always satisfaction in that smile. Jenny felt satisfied, herself. “Our analysts will continue to up the amount of donut products you’re delivered, in line with our estimations of her progressing needs.”

“You’re saying you’re going to guess how heavy she’s getting, and send more donuts accordingly?”

“Of course.”

It was Diane’s turn to smile, Jenny wasn’t looking but she could definitely hear the mirth in the rabbit’s voice. “I’ll have to take a look at those estimations. See if me and the project here can’t beat them. Keep your analysts on their feet.”

This time, Moon would grin. “I would like to see that.”

Jenny blushed, she thought she might too.
