My apologies for the delay in posting this - I've got a lot of IRL stuff going on at the moment and have been seriously out of it art-wise for the past few weeks! The going has been slow and will continue to be that way for a while now, so I may be a little slower in terms of art production from now on, but I'm getting there. In the meantime, though, hope you enjoy this lineart piece meant for last month's reward!

In an unexpected but welcome twist, the winner for May's reward poll was AE3803, or "Red Blood Cell", from Cells at Work! A very underrated manga/anime series if I do say so myself, it's a fun, entertaining look at the human body with a variety cast of endearing cells-as-humans, along with a couple of spinoffs I admittedly haven't been able to track down. Still, I will lay down my life for this poor delivery girl gijinka here, even if I had a lot of fun with this particular scenario. The bacterium that's gotten a hold of her is based on the depiction of E. coli from the Cells at Work! CODE BLACK spinoff, though I modified it quite a bit for convenience's sake, so it arguably doesn't resemble any particular germ anymore. Still, it seems like whatever she does, Red Blood Cell absolutely should not drop the package it's trying to get a hold of if she knows what's good for her... The circulatory system's "thirty minutes or it's free" slogan isn't there for nothing! XD

I was going to finish this up today, but a couple of delays happened related to some of the aforementioned IRL stuff I've been dealing with; the color job for this shouldn't be too hard, though. With that said, the final version of this piece will be posted on Wednesday, June 8!

Looks like a difficult delivery. Probably shouldn't be holding over your head, for one thing.
