"Mothra vs. Ghidorah"

This past month has been pretty monstrous for me - and not just because I drew a ton of kaiju-related artwork in celebration of the release of Godzilla vs. Kong, mind. Still, what better way to end off a very busy March than this lovely piece here? For my first monthly reward with a gijinka and my first with a MILF-type character design, I personally think I did a pretty great job, although it is admittedly a little rushed and you can see quite a few errors in the perspective and the positioning of the stars of the show here. I had so much fun making this, though, which isn't surprising considering that it may well be the most self-indulgent of these rewards yet. I took the time to practice a few new angles of lighting for it, and though I'm still not sure if I managed to get it all exactly right, it certainly conveys the atmosphere of this piece well enough, and I'm quite fond of the amount of shading detail I put on Ghidorah. It's pretty easy to get a little carried away when it comes to these things! XD

I'm starting a new work project as of today, so that means rewards and artwork in general might be proceeding a bit slower than normal since I have to adjust to it (yeah yeah, I know I said that last autumn but a bunch of things happened that shook things up considerably). Still, I hope I can get to work on the rewards as best I can despite my new workload, so if any of you subscribers believe I owe you one, please let me know via PM!
