"No Mercy For Percy" (Version 2)

Thank you for last month's support! Due to last month being my birth-month I knew I had to make something extra special for it, so I figured it'd be nice to try and remake one of my older works; you guys voted for one involving my absolute favorite literary hero from childhood (sorry, Harry Potter!), and I was all too happy to give it a fresh new figurative coat of paint; I've also included the original pic as a comparison. Working with the underwater lighting and effects was especially fun, although I'm still not that impressed with how I drew the hair for any of the subjects featured - in retrospect I should've looked to actual refs of hair flow underwater beforehand. That's a minor issue, though, and I hope you guys appreciate the end result nonetheless! I might also have to make official designs and bios for the lake nymphs shown here sometime, though I'll have to find a place for them somewhere in my official writing projects first.

If you haven't read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and other associated literature yet, you should. They're really good!
