I'm far from finished with this curvy "reimagining" of a beloved FF character. Maybe all the intense experimentation involving un tested Materia combinations at Shinra HQ has yielded some very unexpected results...

Hojo's attempt to prep RedXIII for mating with another species in order to create experimental offspring had backfired.  The Materia was designed to adjust his animal lust and libido to be more compatible with the other specimen, but an overload in the lab equipment caused the "beautiful woman" data Materia to permanently extend to the shape of his physical body instead of simply stopping at the intended expansion of his sexual desires... yikes!

He is now an awkward horny mess. Walking on two feet is strange enough, but his original curiosity for human women had been permanently amplified to a powerful lust, causing him great confusion and shock when seeing his own sensual curvaceous reflection. His voice and face remain the same, making it a little easier to hang onto his masculine animal identity, but many conflicted feelings overtake him as he's gradually exposed to human female clothing, makeup and certain expectations from society. He doesn't want to like it, but he just cant help how much that cute sparkly bikini really makes him feel fuzzy and excited. 

Who wouldn't love helping out a bashful horny curvy fella while he tries to figure things out? Though he still lusts after women, it's the newfound male attention that has really begun to send thrills and goosebumps all over his body. Buying him gifts and treating him like a beautiful lady really gets him red in the face. A Gold Saucer date night feels like an inevitability at this point.
