Quite a bit has changed in those ten weeks since the early access started. Your feedback on the game's beta version was mostly positive, which I was very happy to see, but you also raised some really good points that could be improved. I won't go into detail about all the changes I made, but the final version of the game not only has a new title but also includes more metronomes, pink-colored text, and the first official appearence of Lucy, one of my new original characters (see my recent big update post for more information about the MCU™).
Based on your feedback, I also tried to give the fictional donation feature a more prominent role in the story, but retrospectively adding it to the entire game instead of just having it in the one scene would've pretty much forced me to completely rebuild the game's structure. Instead, I decided to change the way the donation appears in the game, turning it from an unused game mechanic from the Home Office Game into a quick interaction at the start of the stream.

I had originally planned to publish the game last week already, but last minute someone anonymously submitted an extensive review of CwaC's early access version and opened my eyes to some major problems in the game. These problems were not related to its gameplay or any technical bugs, but regarding its writing. While most of my games are written rather pragmatically, focused on JOI and such, I had higher ambitions for this one and decided to get more creative to create a more fun experience with interesting dialogue. I not only wanted to give you a good masturbation session but to also include some satire, exaggerating and thus criticizing certain themes of the game. For example, mental health issues of performers in adult entertainment or unhealthy, almost exploitative relationships viewers can build with performers.
This satire is certainly still a central part of the game, but the review pointed out some tone-deaf jokes that simply went too far. And I agree, so I removed them. Your JOI experience is without doubt the most important part of the game, so the satire must be subtle enough to enhance the experience instead of distracting from it. Anyway, this isn't really relevant information about the final game, I just wanted to thank this anonymous reviewer and to grant you some insight into the production process and the huge role your feedback plays in it. It's difficult to keep the whole project in sight when it consists of so many different parts, so your external perspective really is crucial for me. 🙏

Besides finishing this new game, I also spent the last days overhauling my Patreon page, as I had planned for the whole year already and announced in my last update post. My dated commissioned artworks have been replaced and updated with a new color scheme and animations. I also added new post collections and made some minor changes to the supporter tiers and their included benefits. These changes are mostly intended for new patrons though. If you're currently a Patreon supporter, you likely won't notice anything different. 😊

Wow, I can't quite believe that CwaC is my first proper new game since Morexis Minigames, released over two years ago in November 2021. I don't have any concrete plans for 2024 yet, but plenty ideas for fun new content for you all to enjoy~
