Update: Hentai FapJack Trilogy Structure (Patreon)

In my last update post, I mentioned that "this might be my only post this month". However, there have been some really interesting developments with Hentai FapJack and I want to tell you a bit about it.

First off, the most important piece of information: You can expect the first teaser for Hentai FapJack early next month. Depending on how much time it takes to finish the rest, the early access and full release will probably follow a few weeks later.  

If you don't know yet, Hentai FapJack will be an updated and improved version of fapnip's FapJack with Melody with the main difference being, as the title suggests, fictional characters. Since this is an extremely complex game, I've been working closely with fapnip for the last half year and we've added a lot of new features. But I'll tell you more about that in the future. 😄

For now, I want to talk about the game's structure and organization. Another big change fapnip and I came up with is the option to choose different game modes. While this may sound unspectacular at first, I will use this feature to allow you to choose a "fandom" (like Overwatch, Nintendo, My Hero Academia etc.) at the start of the game. You will then play multiple rounds of FapJack against different characters of the selected fandom.

My original plan was to have one Hentai FapJack game with eight or nine different fandoms, each with four or five characters. However, upon hearing my plans, fapnip immediately pointed out that having this many characters will not only be a structural nightmare in the code but also cause technical issues.
So I thought about it some more and I came up with a new plan: I will turn Hentai FapJack into a trilogy, splitting it into three smaller games with three fandoms each. 

This is how the games' organization looks like with my current plan:
1. Hentai FapJack Red: Overwatch  /  My Hero Academia  /  Surprise 😉
2. Hentai FapJack Blue: Nintendo  /  Superheroines  /  Disney Princesses
3. Hentai FapJack Yellow: My Little Pony  /  Pokémon  /  Surprise

Of course, there can still be changes if I can't find enough fitting images or I realize a fandom doesn't fit the concept. I might also add additonal game modes later on, even after the trilogy's release. In each game, one of the three game modes will require a Patreon password to play.

While it would've been convenient to have all characters in one game, there are definitely advantages to splitting it up like this. Just to mention a few, instead of waiting a long time for the full game to be finished, the parts will now be published relatively soon after each other. Also, by decreasing quantity, I can focus more on quality and put more effort into individual characters and dialogue.

Speaking of characters, I chose the featured fandoms and characters mainly with the character survey for Lost in Lewd Labyrinth. Since the context of the original survey was quite specific (gathering characters for LiLL), I created a similar but updated survey with your feedback from the first one. So feel free to click the link and leave your votes even if you already participated in the original one in April. This survey is meant to be fairly general and is not directly linked to Hentai FapJack. I just thought this would be a good place to bring it up. 😊
