…… Concern. That’s concerning coming from N. I do not like that.

Ready for this dose of angst in the N route! Really curious how they’ll handle these fears - hide behind the mask? be open and hope for the best? How much has to do with Sanja’s fate?

Judging by the amount of Murphy thirst, she'd do just fine as a villain xD but on a serious note now I am intrigued about what brings this thought on, o' april, you can't get here quickly enough.

Junesong

*casually threatens April with my eyeballs* Hurry on up now!

Queen Zelda

I'm so excited! I've been following the creation of this dang story since book 1 I can't believe how it still gets me so excited. I am curious, how long does it take for the save function to work woth each new book? I hate having to replay the book for all 5 of my MCs 🤣

I was reading in the Choice of Games forums that a save function typically appears when the next book or story is at least 80% ready. So, we'll likely see a save function for Book 3 when at least half or more of Book 4 is written. Hope that helps!

Perhaps complications aren't as easy to handle as N originally thought. Awaiting the release with bated breath.

Thank you, that helps so much. That's very annoying cause it means I'll have to reread it each one and hope i get the same outcome 😭 At least the demo's have the key decisions on it so you can at least know what to look for the next read through

I know what you mean! When Book 2 first came out I wasn't thinking about the saves at all. Then, when the story ended I realized I couldn't save what had just happened. I was disappointed and a little frustrated but it's just how the system has to work for now, I suppose. I used to buy these stories on mobile until I realized I could follow along with the code on a computer. Following along with the code lets you see the outcome of your decisions and, for me, allows me to read which reaction I might want to get. It's a little like cheating, but fun to see how everything is pieced together. If you want to try this, take the URL of the story and add 'scenes/startup.txt' at the end of the URL. So, for Book 2 it would be 'https://www.choiceofgames.com/user-contributed/wayhaven-chronicles-2/scenes/startup.txt'. From there, to move to a different chapter, replace 'startup' with the chapter name as it is written in the startup text. For chapter one it would be 'scenes/chapterone.txt'. I also use CTRL + F to search for dialogue/plot to find where I am amongst the code. Just keep in mind names and pronouns can't be searched for directly because they have code signifiers around them. So pick sentences that don't have character names or references to he/her/they, etc. There's also a group of Tumblrs who wrote a guide for Books 1 and 2. It looks like they will release a guide for Book 3 but it may take a while. Here's where I found them: https://wayhavenguide.tumblr.com/

wow that's awesome! I prefer it on my phone because I like to read these on my breaks or out in about. I honestly wish they were on the Kindle but I know that would be a coding nightmare. I think as the books continue on having the different saves being super different with how big the branches are going to get would be super cool so the idea of using the code wouldn't be that bad, but then I'd probably have to purchase the book twice, right? Not that I'm against supporting this series 😆

I know what you mean. I'm pretty sure I bought Wayhaven on mobile and PC. And now they can be purchased on Steam I could buy it there, too. XD
