The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 26/August/2022 (Patreon)

It was a more all over the week this week!

Chapter 17B is coming on brilliantly, and I've been typing soooo fast just because I'm at a scene I've been waiting to write since about halfway through Book Two, hehe! :D 

It really will give a very different look at two characters in particular...

I actually managed to finish up Chapter 9 editing last Friday in the end, so that was a bonus! On Saturday I was going to start Chapter 10 editing, but instead I did some debugging stuff for all the chapters I've done so far. It took ages, but was really worth it to get back on top of that!

Then it was a switch all week between Chapter 17B and some seriously major rewrites and additions to Chapter 11 (now dubbed 'The chapter-that-never-ends', lol!). I've been thinking on some stuff for Chapter 11 for a while now, particularly Verda's dinner party scene, and wanted to change it up drastically. It just didn't suit how I wanted Verda to be in that moment.

I'm much happier with how it is now, even though it's been a lot of work and additions (Chapter 11 is getting on to be well over 120,000 words, yikes!).

But I will be able to get Chapter 17B finished next week for sure, so I'm buzzed about that! Chapter 18 and 19 both have A and B versions, but 20 and 21 don't.

Nai has been keeping an eye on the save system for Book Two, and it doesn't look like it's been added in yet :/ 

We'll keep checking and let you guys know when it's up though!

It's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK this weekend, so I will be taking the whole weekend and Monday off just to give my brain and hands a bit of a refresh!
