The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 14/April/2022 (Patreon)

I know...it's Thursday, hehe :D

But it's actually Easter weekend this week, which means Friday and Monday are bank holidays here in the UK, so we'll be off for a long weekend. But I still wanted to get the update out!

The writing for Chapter 11 is done!!!! Yay!!! 

Oh it feels like such a huge achievement—for Wayhaven and for me as a creator with what's actually in it!—to get that done.

I did the first round of edits with rewrites and added yet another little scene into it, but I can finally put it to rest for at least a month before the next round of edits.

Which is perfect timing as it means I can come back super fresh next Tuesday to start Chapter 12! Chapter 12 does have a split scene in it, but it's waaaay more straight forward...but man, it has some serious stuff going on it, and one of the biggest (and unexpected) revelations! I'm very excited for it :D

I also booked in for a writer's retreat in May! I used to try and do those every year, but obviously that's been kind of impossible the last couple of years. It'll be nice—and completely nerve-wracking—to go out of my comfort zone to write for other ideas. But I am seriously looking forward to the lessons and expanding skills!

I nod as I look to Tina. "I agree with Verda. It's kind of hard to decide the real loser when we both sucked so bad."

Verda sighs. "You didn't need to frame it quite like that."

"But I was agreeing with you," I say with a shrug.

This is from a choice, so you don't have to choose this. You also only get it if you do actually 'lose' during this scene, the 'win obviously has a whole different scene and set of choices, hehe! :D
