The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 17/Dec/2021 (Patreon)

I did it! Chapter Ten's base writing is all done! :D

It was a push this week, but it's such a sense of satisfaction and happiness to see it complete. Especially with some of the fun moments that cropped up during these endings, hehe!

My internet was super wonky this week though for some reason, possibly all the storms we've been having recently. Thankfully, I didn't need the internet to write, I just tend to use it for thesaurus or checking definitions, so at least I could push through on that!

Looking back on Book Three so far, I'm just so, so...like, happy doesn't even touch it! :D
I know I've said this before, but it's exactly the game I've always wanted to create! I'm a person who, when they love a game, will play through it soooo many times. It's my comfort and escape. But when that game provides new options to explore, or even small moments I missed first time (or fifth time, lol), then it makes me a very happy gamer!
I want Wayhaven to be the kind of games you can pick and go through, even with the same love interest, and find a new story. Like the upcoming Chapter 11 is going to be massive to write, but there will be three different ways to go through that chapter, and each one will vary depending on your love interest and what you chose! So if you're romancing A, then Chapter 11 will have 3 completely different versions for them!
Book Two was sort of getting there with where I wanted to go, but Book Three is really where I feel I'm reaching it!

It is taking A LOT of work, but I know it's worth it to create something not only that I'm proud of, but that I also seriously want to play myself! :D

So yeah, that's pretty much it for this week and for 2021!

I'll be going on my Christmas break starting tomorrow and will be back on Tuesday 4th January 2022!

In the meantime, I seriously hope you guys on Patreon enjoy the Christmas scenarios, as well as something an extra bit special on Christmas day... ;D
