The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 27/August/2021 (Patreon)

M's scene came together so smoothly this week considering the amount of confusion and complex emotions coming up in it! :D

But I finished it!

I was a writing machine this week! Even when I offered to take Nai for her 2nd Covid-vaccine, I didn't want to stop writing, so I took my laptop and managed to write a ton in the car while I waited! :D

Being in that mode though seriously has meant I've powered through. Not only did I get M's scene finished, but I completed the friend scene, and I'm now working on the combat ending!! 

Chapter 8's base writing will be done by this weekend!!

I know I still have the editing to do, as well as still Chapter 7's...But I'm really hoping that won't take that long. There's a few places I know I want to rewrite and adapt after thinking on them, but I have them set in my head so now what I want to do for that.

I love writing M's scenes lately! All the confusion, and brooding, and lust, and longing, and romance, and sweetness...ahhh, it makes my heart very happy, hehe! :D

For Update+ this week, I struggled to find something as all of it was pretty spoilery, so I decided on an opening from one of the choice options...

I lift a brow at the sudden temptation rolling from ${mason} in waves after the focused intensity towards training ${m_she}'s been pushing all morning.

"And what happened to ignoring distractions, hm?" I ask.

"As if you're ever a distraction I could ignore," ${m_she} whispers, tugging me closer by the hand.
