Felix springs out of his chair and walks to the door, peering down the hallway. "She's not around is she?"

"I can't sense her," Mason states.

Felix shuts the door and swings around to the face the room again. "She was fricking terrifying. I'd only met a few humans after getting here, and then she pops up and is like 'You should join my team. You would make a good fit.' Not even a hello."

"She really didn't say hello?" Nat asks, folding her hands into her lap.

"Nope. Just 'Are you Felix Hauville?' To which I was like, 'Oh yeah, that's who I am now'. And then she just slams me with the offer'," Felix explains before grinning. "But hey, look what she did for me. I would never have met you guys without her." He moves to wrap his arms about Mason, who glowers a death glare at him, so he moves onto Nat. 

Nat smiles as Felix's arms wrap about her shoulders from behind. "And where would we be without you?" The words fill the room with their genuine warmth.

"I thought she was capable handler," Ava answers. "When she took over our team, the process was smooth and done to the letter."

"Yes, you two were an instant hit together," Nat replies with a chuckle. "I thought the same. She is very…efficient. Probably one of the most efficient humans I've encountered."

"She's a human, she worked for the Agency, she lets us have our freedoms." Mason shrugs. "Could do worse as a handler."

"What a stellar review," Felix comments in a monotone voice. "I'd hate to hear what you thought of me."

Mason half-smiles. "It was better than that."

Felix grins. "Glad to hear it."
