For A (and perhaps Tane/Maaka as well): What is the heaviest thing you've lifted in terms of weight and how heavy was it (kgs/lbs)? When you benchpress / lift weights, how heavy are the weights you use?
--
"I lifted Tane here once," Maaka says, punching his brother in the arm. "He weighed a ton."
Tane slides a lazy smile onto his lips while flexing a tattooed arm. "That's all complete solid muscle."
"It's like you're made of rock, man," Maaka adds with an encouraging tone.
"Ah, thanks, brother," Tane replies, half-hugging Maaka closer, the gesture awkward with the elder brother being so much larger than the younger.
Ava watches the display with her brow raised before puffing out a breath. "Are you now going to return to actually answering the question seriously?"
Both the brothers roll their eyes in unison.
"Oh, I forgot you were here," Tane comments, falling into one of the chairs.
"Really? The aura of ice from her corner didn't remind you?" Maaka says, though with a much more teasing tone shining through the smile he throws Ava's way.
She shakes away the joke. "I can't honestly remember the heaviest thing I've lifted. If something needs to be moved or is causing an obstacle, I move it."
"Weirdly, I have to agree with the Ice Queen," Maaka adds with a heavy shrug of his large shoulders. "You kind of just lift stuff. I don't do weights." He angles his muscled bulk closer as his face splits into a wonderful smile. "Perks of being a werewolf is that these muscles stay as they are."
He leans back and slaps a hand on Ava's shoulder. Amazingly, she doesn't budge an inch at the impact.
"What about you? How much you lifting on weight day?" he asks.
"I don't train with weights," she replies stiffly and shifts away in her seat.
"What do you train with? Puppies?" Tane asks, receiving a chortle from his brother.
She eyes them for a long moment. "They'd likely make better training partners than either of you."
The Scott brothers reel backwards with genuine gasps and a sting of pain cutting across their faces.
