Bobby, tell us about your family. Are you close to your parents/sibling(s)? And if the answer is no, do you wish that could be different?

--

"My family?" they ask, their eyes widening slightly as though not familiar with the term. "They're not really part of my life. They certainly didn't help me get where I am." They spread their arms out and indicate at their body. "I did that all by myself. Well, with some acquired help from others."

"Was that 'acquired help' given freely?" you ask.

They purse their lips. "Nothing is given freely. You have to take what you need or get left behind. It's the way of the world." A sharp breath leaves them before they rub their fingers down their neck. "Where were we? Oh right. Family. I don't see my sister anymore, thankfully. She moved…somewhere. My parents still live in Wayhaven, but who knows how they are doing nowadays." They shrug. "And I'm very happy to keep it that way."

idk i kinda felt bad for Bobby. It seemed like he didn't really have a good childhood and I'm guessing that caused him to turn out the way he did

You know, this answer explains so much about why Bobby Marks is the way he is. I feel a bit bad for him and I hope that he finds a way to overcome the generational trauma and better himself. I feel like he could be a really good person who can make real change in the world if he learned how to and could make genuine relationships with others, rather than based off what they can do for him
