"Ohh!" he lunges forward with such enthusiasm he almost leaps out of his seat. "How do you pick just one?"

"I think one is more than enough," Ava voices with only half a groan to the words. 

But Felix is already lost in thought, lips pursed and his fingers tapping at his chin as he stares at the opposite wall. 

"Maybe ice skating? We've never done that. And you see it in all the movies," he chimes, adding a nod over to the others.

A less-than-enthusiastic response greets him.

"Fine, what about…laser tag?"

Mason gives a stiff nod. "I could be down for that."

"As could I," Ava agrees. "But only to help fulfil your wishes."

Felix raises a brow. "Sure, sure. And what about you, Natkins?"

Nat swallows down what was apparently her initial response before smiling a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. "I guess if it's something you all wanted to do…"

"Awesome! Then it's settled!" Felix blurts out, grinning from ear to ear and already springing out of his seat to mark the calendar. "How about next month?"

Nat just about squeaks out a somewhat positive reply of, "Sure."
